Karen Van Holten
Karen grew up with a family of bluegrass musicians, sang in the church choir with her dad and played trumpet through college, performing with the Indiana University Marching Hundred, the Hoosier basketball pep band, and symphonic concert band. Her love for arts has cultivated a deep appreciation for all mediums. She was a member for several years of the Young Professionals in Opera with the Houston Grand Opera and also the Young Professionals of the Houston Ballet, attending numerous performances and private events. In 2014, Karen was the chairperson of the Fulshear Area Chamber of Commerce golf tournament and with the help of Arts Fulshear, she turned the pin flags at Weston Lakes into beautiful pieces of art for the day.
Karen has a general law practice located in Fulshear, where she also resides with her husband Danial and their two dogs. She and her husband love attending local events with emphasis on the arts and are looking forward to the growth of opportunities for our community.
